Dogs Deserve It has been walking dogs in Lincoln Park for over 17 years. Our walkers know every block — from the quiet paths around North Pond to the bustling sidewalks along Clark Street. We know which buildings have friendly doormen, which parks get muddy after rain, and the best routes to keep your dog engaged and exercised.
Whether you live near the zoo, by DePaul, or along the lakefront, our Lincoln Park team provides GPS-tracked walks with real-time photos and updates so you always know your dog is in good hands.
“We’ve used Dogs Deserve It for three years and our golden retriever literally jumps for joy when the walker arrives. The GPS tracking and photos make my workday so much better knowing he’s out exploring the neighborhood.”

About Lincoln Park
Lincoln Park is known for its tree-lined streets, historic brownstones, and one of the city’s most iconic green spaces. Key landmarks include Oz Park, North Pond, Lincoln Park Zoo, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and the lakefront trail. Our walkers are deeply familiar with every block and know the best routes for dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
YOUR AREA WALKERS, LILY
I’ve been with DDI since 2022 and have loved every minute of it. I grew up in an animal rescue my parents started when I was young and animals have been an integral part of my life since my earliest memories. It fostered my love and care for animals, so dog walking and being a vet tech were the natural next steps for me. I consider all my DDI dogs my BFF’s and it brings me joy to see their excitement when I come in to take them on our daily adventures. I try to make every visit a happy one filled with leg kicking pets, zoomies, and all their favorite things in between.
