Hi all,
We’d like to take the next few months to highlight our walkers and provide a little bit more depth to who they are and why they are so special. As you may know, DDI boasts the longest employee tenure in the industry. We feel so incredibly lucky to call these people part of our amazing DDI family. Our walkers work through Chicago’s (often) inclement weather and rough conditions, all while still arriving with a smile on their face and love to give to your furry children. They truly are miracle workers!
Today’s walker highlight is James. We have been blessed with James’ presence for a decade and we feel more lucky every day that he is with us. From an employer standpoint, James is perfect. He is always positive, effecient and hard working. His clients absolutely adore him and so do we. We asked James to provide a brief bio for us which is listed below.
“I’ve been walking dogs since 2016 because honestly, it’s the best way to hang out with great dogs when you don’t have one of your own. My favorite part is when a pup starts recognizing me and gets excited the second I walk in — tail going, ready to break out of the house and go do something fun. As far as they’re concerned, I’m the person who shows up with walks, attention, treats, and a change of pace. I try to make every visit something they look forward to.”
