Brenna has been with DDI for a long time now; wearing many hats: On-Call Scheduling Manager; On-Call Manager, etc. She is incredibly sweet and is known to converse with her pups. General Manager, Danielle, says this about her, “Brenna is just wonderful! She walks my dogs and they just love her. Every time she arrives to walk them, they can barely contain themselves. Brenna is not only a wonderful dog walker but has been an invaluable member of our management team. She is always willing to help out and has gone above and beyond when she is on-call. Brenna is the best!”
Apart from walking, Brenna is one of the go to walkers, when we train new staff. Her fellow territory walker, Darius, was trained by her. “Brenna taught me a lot. She really gave me the confidence in being a new walker. She has the best little personality. Really fun energy. She’s my best friend.” Brenna is a hardworking, go getter and we are excited to see her grow at DDI.

Why did you decide to become a dog walker?
Before I applied to DDI, I had a bunch of anxiety looking for a job. I knew I wanted to work somewhere fun and I didn’t want to be in an office all day. After searching around a bit, I decided to start looking into doing something involving animals. I love animals. They’re pretty cool. It was then I found an advertisement for Dogs Deserve It and I thought yeah, I can walk dogs. That sounds amazing. And it is!
What is your favorite thing about the job? and DDI?
Well, I love seeing my pups every day. Some of the dogs on my route I’ve had since I started here. Even if I’m not having a great day, seeing these pups smiling faces and wagging tails always makes me feel better. It’s like a party every time I go in to walk another pup. DDI works hard to make me feel comfortable and confident in this job. I know I can talk to any manager about anything and they are always so understanding. DDI always has the dogs best interest in mind and I like being a part of a company that really puts the dogs first.
Tell us about your passions/hobbies!
I do a bit of acting. I went to college for it and I’m keeping it up out here in the real world. It’s relaxing. And I enjoy doing a bit of singing and performing comedy. I also like taking naps but I don’t think that’s really a hobby. It’s more of a passion.
What would you like our readers/clients to know most about you?
How much I appreciate their pups. Seriously, these poor dogs normally have to listen to me singing while we are out walking and they don’t seem to mind one bit! But I think all of the dogs are little rays of sunshine that just make my day.
