Seamus – Dog of the Month

A long-time client of Dogs Deserve It, Seamus has always been such a joy to walk. His fluffy face, complete with a full on moustache, will never fail to put a smile on your face.

Seamus’ long time walker, Christy, had this to say about him:

“I’ve been walking Seamus since he was a sharp needle toothed puppy and I can’t say enough good things about him. He is a classic good boy. He is always so happy to say hello or run up to you for pets. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and I really do love him and am so happy to get to see him not once but twice a day :). Congrats on ‘Dog of the Month’ bud, you deserve it.”

We asked Seamus’ owner Shannen to share a few things with us about why Seamus is so darn special…

DDI: When and where did you get Seamus?

Shannen: I got Seamus from PawPad Goldendoodles in Peoria, IL in March of 2014.

DDI: What is your favorite thing about Seamus?

Shannen: There are many things I love about this fluffy boy. If I have to pick a favorite, it would be his loving demeanor. Seamus is such a lover and would snuggle all day long if he had it his way. He also willingly poses for photos as you can see here in some of my favorite shots of him.

DDI: If you could describe Seamus’ life attitude in one sentence, what would it be?

Shannen: Seamus is a happy-go-lucky, lovable boy that loves hugs, ear scratches, snuggles, pillows, squeaky balls, peanut butter and Montrose beach.

DDI: Could you tell us a cute/funny story about Seamus?

Shannen: Seamus wants to  say hi to every person and dog he sees on walks. There have been several times where he has been so focused on what is going on behind him/around him, that he has walked right into bushes, signs, mailboxes! The look on his face afterwards is priceless!

Please help us celebrate Seamus by wishing him a happy birthday on January 11! Thanks for letting us take care of him while you’re away, Shannen!
